Day Three- Riding bikes across the Golden Gate Bridge
and all around San Francisco
Looking straight down from the highest point....
then up to the highest point....
Sausalito in the distance
We thought we would be coasting down into Sausalito to catch the Ferry, but the wind was so strong coming at us up through the valleythat we had to pedal as hard going downhill as we did coming up!
We we able to see Alcatraz quite well from the Ferry
The Perfect Lunch......
Cowgirl Creamery Cheese, Bread, and Wine!

then through the harbor and Fisherman's Wharf again.......
up some very steep streets.......
to Haight Ashbury....
And Back to the Golden Gate Park to turn in our bikes....AT LAST!!!
George and Pat Rutland took us out to one of theirfavorite places- E&O Trading Co.
on to China Town....
Then we took a cable car to Nob Hill
and up to the Top of the Mark for a nightcap...
There are no pictures of the city from the Top of the Marksince the entire building was engulfed in a cloud....oh well.....
What a great day!
