Today was the AWCP Bazaar. I worked 9-10, then shopped for a few hours. Allison checked out of school to bring Kenny and Marci, her friend from Jakarta, to shop for a while. We all went to visit the C03 office for a while, then went to Robinsons for lunch at Fridays and some Market shopping. The smog is setting in and I can really feel it in my breathing. Can't wait for our trip to Puerto Galera this weekend.

Terry, Tom, Ken, and Efren went golfing while Katie, Allison, Kenny, and I went shopping. We started out a Green Hills then went to the Mega Mall. Kenny and Allison got tired and went home, but Katie and I went to the Shangri La Edsa and shopped til we dropped before riding the MRT home after dark. Katie found a dress to wear to a wedding so it was a successful day.

Terry, Katie and I went downtown to the Hyatt to watch the Gators beat Villanova and make it into the final four NCAA tournament. Then Tom and Ken rode the LRT and MRT with us back to Makati for lunch.

Allison is playing softball and her team has won all of the games we have gotten to watch. She is playing catcher and first base and we got to see her score several points and catch a pop fly.

Today Kenny and I went with Thursdays for others to visit a home for street girls in Northern Quezon City. 25 girls from the ages of 7-14 live here because their parents are not able to care for them. Many of the homes are disfunctional due to drug, alcohol, physical, and sexual abuse. The girls live here while the community counselors work with their families. Returning them to their rehabilitated families is the ultimate goal.

Today the Museum Volunteers of the Philippines took a tour to Santo Thomas, the oldest university in the Philippines and only a few years younger than Harvard. The campus consists of some very old buildings with fascinating architecture and statues.

This was graduation day!

As we were driving to our restaurant for lunch, we passed the Presidental Palace- Malacanyang

We had lunch at Cocina de Tita Moning which is a private
restaurant inside Legarda Mansion. The beautiful
ancestral home displays wonderful family heirlooms.
